Day 21
Oh boy did we start early this morning! Got woken up at dawn by the sound of someone training in martial arts... by chopping down a tree and breaking rocks by the sound of it. Discovered when I emerged from my tent that it was a machop, starting his training routine early. Too early. He fled when he saw me, but I released Capaldi and he cut off the escape. The resulting fight was quick, and before breakfast I had caught myself Alex Louis, our newest friend.

Honestly not a morning person, but it was a great way to kick off my fourth week as a trainer! It's hard to believe that three weeks ago I was a boring teenager traveling to a new place with no friends; now I am traveling and exploring so many new places, with so many friends! Three weeks, and yet I can no longer imagine life without Mickey or Lucius, my two first and closest companions. And I'm actually getting good as a trainer in more than just battling; Moof politely ate his breakfast today, and it only took a week! We'll see how well he does tomorrow.
